You may want to consider a smaller cake for display and adding cupcakes or sheet cake to reduce costs. Using textured buttercream, “nearly naked,” or a rustic style of frosting may also help to reduce the price. Remember, we use the best ingredients and bake from scratch, meaning we’re not able to charge as little as other bakeries who use mixes, canned and jarred fillings, or shortening in their frosting.
